No. We encourage attendees to be relaxed and casual. Just keep your shorts and flip-flops at home :)
What is a Mini Presentation?
We have a 7-minute rule that applies to each presentation to keep the attendees engaged (and avoid the natural reactions to long presentations like yawning, checking the time, checking the mobile phone and, the ultimate, dozing off).
What is a Business Diwaniya?
Like social Diwaiyas where people meet, get to know new people and get connected, our Business Diwaniya facilitates business discussions and sharing of ideas. And to give you access to as many new contacts as possible, we will shuffle the crowd twice through the allocated time. This way, you will meet a lot more new people and build new contacts.
Is DMcircle just another form of a diwaniya?
Well, not quite. Although, like a diwaniya, we are facilitating an environment to build connections and conduct some business or clear misconceptions, we are focusing on business topics and short exciting presentations and themes. Think of DMcircle like a business diwaniya with variety of exciting benefits.
As a local citizen, I go to many diwaniyas and I meet the owners and important executive management figures directly. Why should I join DMcircle?
DMcircle is not only a place to meet new people in the market. It is also a place to learn new ideas, updates and trends to help you think better about growing your business.
Is the membership exclusive per industry?
No. It’s good to be close to your competitors and to know how they think. However, you’re not obliged to sit with them all the time. Yet, there are benefits. You can talk and maybe open the door to agree on certain policies or pricing strategies, for example, and help improve your industry. Besides, your competition will attend. Can you afford not to?
Can I join my as an individual executive?
Unfortunately, no. DMcircle is only available for corporate memberships.
How many members will DMcircle have?
If we reach over 100 members, we will reevaluate limiting the membership. Right now, we say, the more the merrier.
Can I have a list of the current members?
No. We don’t offer the Members list. Every day, companies join DMcircle. The number keeps increasing. So, making a judgment on whether or not to join based on the current number and names is not the best way to make decision. Let’s say your company joins today and DMcircle has X number of Members. In a few months or so, this number could double or triple. If your decision is based only on the number today, you will lose on all the Members who have joined afterwards.
Does the membership have any fees?
Yes, DMcircle membership comes with an annual fee.

What are the fees for?
The fees cover the time for managing the program, reviewing and filtering presentations, membership requests, online and print communication, hotel meeting room rental and catering, promoting the program through media, managing and updating the website, coordinating with the members, documenting some of the sessions for publicity purposes, conducting research with the attendees to assess the quality of the experience and its impact on their business, and other operational cost.
What companies are eligible to join DMcircle?
Local companies that fall under any of the three types:

A.Well known organizations that the entire markets knows and respects (Stock listed companies, large family owned businesses, etc).

B.Companies that we, the organizers, know directly so we can vouch for their attitude.

C.Companies that are recommended by existing members. As a member, you will only refer to us good members just like you to keep the quality of the experience positive.
